sordfish (2), USA does not count Nov 20, 2007 This beer is just ok. Very similar to Goose Island 312...just an imitation. Cornfield (4262), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Mar 27, 2007 The mug is filled with a thick & cloudy dark amber beverage with a bubbly white head that laces nicely. Pleasant aroma (They dasn’t serve me with a chilled mug!) of wheat & honey with traces of lemon & orange. It has a honey sweet flavor with soft wheat and an orange juiciness. Some lemony bitterness emerges at the finish and rounds the drink out nicely. Not bad.

Drnk_McDermott (1545), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Mar 26, 2007 Updated: Nov 8, 2007Mug Club draft. Light amber color with a short but stubborn head. A light wheat beer smell, which, when drinking, brings a hint of fresh hops. Carbonation is distractingly low for a wheat beer. Bit of toasty malt, barely supported by light citrus hops; Slight weizen yeast note. Rather slight in taste, yet it has room to improve if they brew it again. And after leaving, I still had a sense of well-being, so it’s not all bad.
Taster from cask, 6/5/07: Not many chances to try an American wheat on cask. Here it brings out a bit of sourness (I hope that’s not fouled lines), plus extra banana esters. In other words, a different beast served warm. Head remains very short, white, and even more stubborn. Ughsmash (2999), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Mar 21, 2007 On tap at R.B. Yorktown. Poured a hazy medium golden with a dusting and light ring of white head. Not much to the aroma.. some toasted wheat, darker banana notes, and a touch of other sweetness. Flavor picked up a lightly-sour wheaty base with some darker sugars and toffee.. banana accents & some caramel sweetness too... not bad. OK feel on the palate with some grainy and sour notes.. lighter-bodied.
