FlssmrBrewAlum (194), South Chicago Suburbs, Illinois, USA Jul 3, 2008 Poured on tap at Yorktown. Pours a golden slightly hazy straw in a pilsner glass. Prominent fluffy white head that slowly dissipated and laced beautifully during the whole experience. Aromas are floral hops and pilsner bready malts. Very floral initial taste with bready pilsner malts on a less prominent factor. The hops steal the show but are balanced marvelously with the pilsner malts. Flavorful, succulent, and top notch. Very pleasant aftertaste that lets you remember the sweet nectar you just enjoyed. Cheers! holdenn (1138), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 12, 2008 6/11/08 Thanks to Andrew for this pour from a growler filled 5 days earlier. As andrew fills my mug in the park, everything about this beer screams fresh from the tap. Clear golden yellow with a white thick head. Hoppy delicious nose. Rich with caramels, citrus, grass, herbal and spicy hops. Smooth body and so fresh tasting. Rich caramel malts with earthy, floral, herbal, and spicy noble hops. Finishes with a slight bitterness. Really tasty brew. I could drink a lot of this. SQNfan (424), Wheaton, Illinois, USA Jun 11, 2008 This one poured golden in color and had a rather complex nose of citrus, spice, wheat and and herbal funk. The palate was powerful and concentrated showing off ther herbaceousness in the finish. A powerful summer beer! drewbeerme (1782), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 4, 2008 draft. pours clear golden with white head. a wonderful nose of piney, citrus, and grapefruit. flavors of grassy, mango, peach, touch of spice, hop notes. clean malt body and finish. a bit bubblegummy in the finish. good dose of hop bitterness. wow this is really hopped up. alcohol is well hidden. this is a remarkable beer.
