Todeon (225), Höllviken, Sweden Sep 30, 2008 Bottle. Wow! This one pours a really nice rubyred color. Aroma is flowery and fruity with some caramel and portwine notes. Taste is fruity and sweet with loads of caramell and vinious notes along with some roasted malt. Really good! Nekronos (2017), Xalapa, Mexico Apr 11, 2006 Very nice, it was very sweet, but very strong, not drinkable alone, it is said. It is not really a Pilsener, it is dark, not black, more like "purple", I’m not sure of the alcohol percentage, but they say is the strongest int he world. henrikb (1161), Aarhus, Denmark Jul 26, 2007 Draft - Very well served beer with a red-brown body and a huge beautiful light brown head; Huge and very balanced malty berry nose, fresh and old leather, lots of red berries, ripe cherry, sugary strawberry jam, lots of vanilla like barrel aromas, a full malty alcohol warm part is present and balances the fruits perfectly; Super soft a little to thick oily textured body, very very little sharp prickling carbonation, bitter, sweet and slightly ripe cherry fruity acidy; Super long warm finish with a beautiful alcohol burn, lots of red berry aroma and a very pleasant late malty warm soft slightly bitter touch. It seems like the draft-version is very different from the bottled-version. I think the draft version beer that I had would be a beer that would age remarkably. armando629 (512), Budapest, Hungary May 5, 2008 What the hell have you tasted? This is a good and strong beer with a big personality. Dark brown body with a small delisicious head. Fruity and liqueric aroma of chocolate, raisins and toffee. Fine taste with oily and fruity mouthfeel, plum and raisins, chocolate, some coffee or toffee...Complex, syrupy body.I like it.... thewolf (4152), Kolding, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Bottle, bought and enjoyed @ U Medvídků, Prague.<br />
WOW! How is this a 3.01 beer? Pours a wonderful muddy red with a very small, creamy yellow head that almost disappears as I pour. I don’t know what to expect from this apart from the label saying 12,6 %. Very nice aroma of strawberries, caramel and green apples. Some maltiness behind it, but all seems to gel extremely well - no sign of alcohol. Low carbonation and very oily mouthfeel. Flavour is extremely fruity, the strawberries again coming to the fore, some apples again and now raspberries. Also pineapple and caramel. Quite vinious, but nowhere do I feel 12, 6 % (until I get up and try to balance on the bar). So sad that this is rated so low.
