Nejhleader (783), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 16, 2006 I think age took a toll on this bottle. Had a wierd smell. Still had a decent hop flavour to it, but if you find any bottles of this out there I’d avoid it. DocLock (4102), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 13, 2004 Pours canary yellow. Nice aroma of hops, citrus, and slight yeast. Tastes and finishes very hoppy, with a good balance. veronika (410), Sweden Feb 23, 2004 Dark golden with a small head. Aroma is sweet, some tomato? Flavor is sweet and fruity, quite malty. Jack_Landers (55), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jan 16, 2004 Well-balanced with a distant note of hazelnut. Not as highly hopped as I would like (but what is?). Overall, this was not a groundbreaking IPA but it was very drinkable. Rock Creek beers are getting harder to find in my area of Virgina, which is unfortunate because I've found something to like in everything they've put out.
