Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Nov 7, 2009 A light golden cider with a thin white head. In aroma, lightly tart apples, with light funk. In mouth, a sweet overcarbonated cider, watery and light, run of the mill. Tasted Nov. 6 2009 at Ottawa Wine and Food Show. Listigovers (96), Ontario, Canada Oct 27, 2009 Boring, somewhat refreshing. A little bit of spice but not nearly enough to make it interesting. Pissy. AWS9 (222), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Oct 15, 2009 Pale gold, no head. Sharp, sweet apple. Citrus and acidic finish. Hey, apple juice! Not bad for a cider I guess, but just not my thing. bulldogops (153), Alberta, Canada Aug 11, 2009 Updated: Aug 26, 2009Bottle, 5.5%. Clear, very pale yellow colour, fairly carbonated. Aroma is sweet apples. Taste is dry, like brut, with a white wine kind of feel, mixed with the sweet cider taste. Cider isn’t really my thing, unless I have memories to drink away. Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Jul 17, 2009 Clear straw color. Sweet smell. Thick nose of tart fruit. Tart taste that does not offend. Apple and raspberry. Also has a slight amount of butter. Not bad but the buttery element detracts from the overall. DuffMan (2721), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Jan 15, 2009 I do not like cider. I would normally not rate a cider. But I tried this one after touring the Big Rock brewery today so I thought that this should be the one cider that I rate since I did enjoy myself so very much. Still, even if this is a good example, it reaffirmed my aversion to cider: too sweet and too fizzy (and by other accounts here this one is actually not very sweet for a cider!). mullet2007 (198), St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada Sep 19, 2008 Pours a clear pale amber with about the same amount of head as youd expect on a cider. Nose is a little sour and pretty sweet. Flavour is nice, very dry, but nice, fairly bitter. Carbonation is pretty high, fits for a cider. It’s about as good as a cider could be. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 5, 2008 Draught at Ship and Anchor, Calgary Light blond color. Light apple aroma, a bit sour. There is very light apple flavor, and a quite high sourness, citric. Refreshing.
