In mouth, a sweet overcarbonated cider, watery and light, run of the mill. Tasted Nov. 6 2009 at Ottawa Wine and Food Show.

Clear, yellow body with a quick bubbly white head. More mushy apples in the flavour with something like a long sweet cloying finish. Light-medium body. Drinkable but the long apple aftertaste is drying.

Aroma is mild, light musty touches with tart apple notes. Flavour is similar, light acidity and tart apple notes, mild fruity sweetness in the core, apples. Average palate. Just a tad light overall it leaves an impression of having been brewed stronger and diluted. I have no idea if that was the case here but it leaves that impression. Pleasant, average mainstream cider. On tap at Clinton’s, Toronto Listigovers (101), Ontario, Canada

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 15, 2009 Pale gold, no head. Sharp, sweet apple. Citrus and acidic finish. Hey, apple juice! Not bad for a cider I guess, but just not my thing. bulldogops (159), Alberta, Canada

Aroma is sweet apples. Taste is dry, like brut, with a white wine kind of feel, mixed with the sweet cider taste. Cider isn’t really my thing, unless I have memories to drink away. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Clear straw color. Sweet smell. Thick nose of tart fruit. Tart taste that does not offend. Apple and raspberry. Also has a slight amount of butter. Not bad but the buttery element detracts from the overall. DuffMan (2769), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 15, 2009 I do not like cider. I would normally not rate a cider. But I tried this one after touring the Big Rock brewery today so I thought that this should be the one cider that I rate since I did enjoy myself so very much. Still, even if this is a good example, it reaffirmed my aversion to cider: too sweet and too fizzy (and by other accounts here this one is actually not very sweet for a cider!).
