People pour this beer over ice. And for good measure squeeze in extra lime and rim the glass with salt. Ay que malo.

Canned thanks to Davin! Poured clear paler golden with a dusting and a light ring of white head. The aroma wasn’t that bad.. fresher lemon extract paired with salt and lesser pale malts (yes, you can actually smell salt in this). The flavor was salty as all hell with sour lemon sugars and pale malts again.. the salt just dominated and I can’t figure out for the life of me why it’s so salty.. dry, thirst-inducing finish that sucked all the extra water out of my body. Tart and salty on the palate with a light body.. unfortunately the salt factor wrecked any chance of enjoyment.

<i>Can</i> &#40;BB 04/2008&#41;<br /> Golden, a bit hazy color, vanishing head. Strong aroma of artifical lemon. Sticky, caramelly-cyrapy body. Tart, salty-lemony flavor. Like drinking lemon-juice concerate. Awful beer, couldn’t finish the can.

Soooo good when you’re actually drinking it in Costa Rica. Goes great with spicy food. Very refreshing when it’s hot and humid. It’s NOT that bad...but it is a girly beer. Just know what you’re getting in to. It tastes like no other beer I’ve ever had, and it is among my all time favorites.

Thanks to decaturstevo for bringing this tropical gem back to Knoxville to share with the crew in the hotel room before the Brewer’s Jam. Clear yellow, no head. Lemony lemonade aroma. Tastes like the rim of a Margarita glass. Salt, salt water, sea water, tears, saline solution, sodium chloride in an aqueous solution...... Interesting example of the brewer’s art.
