Commercial Description:
Brewed from all malt, with no corn adjunct, Rock River offers a full, rich mouthfeel, balanced by plenty of fresh-tasting Continental hop aroma, satisfying complex, yet easy to enjoy.

Pours a clear straw color with small white head. Pretty much a standard pale lager. Nothing to get excited about but if pale lagers is your thing then you’d probably like this one.

This beer pours a very light straw yellow with a little creamy white head. The aroma is slightly corn. There is not much flavor to write of. This would be a good beer to chug after mowing the lawn. Or maybe give to your friends that like their beer in frosty mugs on the rocks.

HoHum...another pale lager. Nothing to distinguish this from the pack. Corn aroma with a malty corn taste. Little hops noted that would have made it interesting.

Bottle. Gee, what a surprise ... yellow, starchy, topped with a poofy white. The aroma is fruity, maybe estery. The drink introduces some grassy aspects, a hint of some leafy hoppiness, mustiness. This is a beer that kind of illuminates the difference between an all-malt, full flavored lager versus an adjunct laden macrolager, but unfortunately isn’t all that well balanced. Good, but fails to meet the great level. (#3377, 4/3/2008)
