Aroma is average malt (bread, cereal, meal), average hops (flowers, pine), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear and apple. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation, and a bitter finish. Good Hoppy Brew. Nice golden color with a light head. Nice malt flavor and a good amount of hops used. Great Pale Ale.
Aubrey (2614), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 8, 2005 Nice yellowish-amber; but mostly headless. Very smooth and creamy texture. Healthy amount of caramel-tasting malts. Flowery and a little citrusy. Balancing bitterness. Nothing over the top, but nice flavors throughout. Good APA. acrdz (4379), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 16, 2004 Orange and bronze colored. Small head. Sweet leaqfy hop flavors, sugary grain and waffle-like nose. Solid bitterness and body. A decent APA, though not great.
