Thanks to Hopscotch for the glass. Still reddish gold pourwith nice legs. Sweet honey, cherry slightly astringent aroma. Taste is sweet cherry and honey, very sweet. Decent desert mead.

Bottle … Clear orange mead with slowly developing legs – pretty nice once they form. The bouquet offers notes of beefy fallen apples layered upon a very mild cherry component. Full-bodied with a whisper of carbonation. Sweet, but not overly so. Very nice acidity. Sweet-tart finish. This one really rubs me in all the right places. Thanks to Tinkerbell for bringing this home from her travels around Colorado and Utah!

No head (still). Body is clear light pink. Aroma is notes of apple, lime peel, honey, cherry, twigs, light note of fusel alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, flat carbonation. Gentle aroma of fruit works well (supportive, not overbearing), and less obvious alcohol smell compared to the unflavored meads from this meadery.
