Actually an Oatmeal Porter, this beer pours a ruddy, unfiltered looking reddish brown color with barely any head (and way too cold!!!). Intresting aroma. In a blind sampling, I would have guessed sweet stout, but whats in a name? Sweet aroma, with all the usual characteristics of an oatmeal beer, along with a little smoke and snappy grassy hops. Mild, mellow sweet flavors. Lots of doughy oatmeal. VERY dry finish. Intresting.
