Pours a cloudy light golden color with a minimal, off-white film for a head. Virtually no lacing noted. The aroma Shows artificial blueberry syrup over sweet pale malts and light cereal grains. The flavor follows suit, with lightly toasted caramel and sweet blueberry showing in the foreground, with faint floral hops floating around on the back end. The medium -light body finishes slightly astringent. Not a very good beer. Far too artificial to be a really good fruit beer. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Courtesy SoLan. Cloudy light oange with a sparse white head. Aroma of blueberry cereal. Very bland, tastes like a plain golden ale with some light blueberry flavor added. Pretty simple. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Courtesy SoLan. Growler. Pours a cloudy straw gold, with a light white head. Smells of up-in-your-face blueberry which really dominated anything else I might pull out of the nose. Maybe a touch of some orange citrus too. The flavor was a little astringent, almost souring. The blueberries were obviously noticeable and powerful, but it had a mustyness to it that wasnt appealing. I believe this growler had some age to it, so it definitely wasnt fresh. Possibly some SoLan closet aging going on here. Anyways, Im usually not a huge fan of blueberry beers, so I wasnt expecting to be blown away here. moejuck (1165), Ohio, USA

The body is pale yellow with a white head. The flavor is some awful combination of blueberries, and miller lite I think. It tastes like the beercellar’s attitude. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

hazy pale yellow, fine dense white head, lots of tiny bubbles, solid lace,
huge fresh blueberry aroma,
lots of blueberry flavor, touch of sweetness is balanced by the blueberry tartness, flavor is all blueberry with just enough malt for a base, no apparent hops or bitterness,
is this the perfect blueberry beer soda?

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Tap at Ohio Brew Week. Pours clear glden color with a smallish white head. Aroma is huge blueberry, with some slight citrus and light malt notes. Flavor is again huge bleberry but not terribly overpowerin, some more light citrus and malt notes. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes on the sweet side. Pretty good stuff from an otherwise dissapointing Brew Week. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2007 Large draught sample at the brewpub, June 26 2007. Very similar to the Light in appearance, quite pale and clear, though this one has a nice bit of head....blueberry-biscuity aroma, like blueberry cobbler I suppose, fairly fresh but very simple....solidly balanced sweet-tart fruity flavor and a light sourdough breadiness make this one of the better blueberry beers I’ve had...finish isn’t mouthpuckering exactly, but reasonably dry and long, with moderate natural-feeling carbonation. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 8, 2007 Not bad for a blueberry beer. Pale watery colored yellow body and a creamy head. Big blueberry covers the rest of the beer except for maybe a bit of wheat. This really fits the 90 degree weather outside.
