Commercial Description:
This red ale is brewed with a blend of 3 different malts. It has a malty complexity similar to the special “Sticke” Altbiers brewed on special occasions by brewers in Dusseldorf Germany. The subtle malty sweetness is perfectly balanced by choice German and American hops.

Clear red, whispy white head, slightly sweet carmel malt aroma, rich sweet malt flavor, lots of lingering carmel sweetness, just a hint of bitterness to offset the sweetness

Chestnut brown, tan head. Absolutely no aroma. Water start, Then kind a nutty flavor, followed up with a citrusy-sweet-tart finish. Kind of bland.

Aroma is malty, with hints of vanilla, banana and nectarine. A good rust color, creamy head and a decent emblem earns this a superlative appearance rating. Flavor is mellow, a little buttery, with similar fruit notes as the aroma. Outstanding palate and mouthfeel, with the hops aftertaste building somewhat -- only trifling complaints here about a little metallic twang from the malting. An unexpected quality find on a Tennessee Sunday night in the hotel lounge.

Great colour, with a fairly normal smell. Good taste with some detectable malt and hops. Not a bad beer!

Aroma is fairly non existent. Appearance is a brownish red with decent lacing. Flavor is hopped with some sourness. Palate is a little watery and a touch bitter. Not a bad beer for something to sip on but nothing amazing at all.

Copper to light brown in color. Nose was light, sweet malts, caramel and grassy notes. Sweet malts were aplenty at first sip and the end had a bit of a peppery bite.

This was also the draught version. A little bit of malt to it, but not sweet at all. Red in color. Not bad, but very ordinary.

A deep red pour with little head. Draught at Union Jack's in Knoxville. A deep brownish/red color. Not much aroma and very smooth. Kind of watered down. The taste didn't last long enough to appreciate it.
