Shag (1922), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Dec 2, 2003 Not very impressed with this at all. It is pretty much a boring golden lager with a trace of malt and a slight lemon palate. This is barely better than American Standards and Ive had many lagers that are better. This brewery offers better beer, so keep on looking. Suttree (2702), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Nov 3, 2003 Dark Gold, thinnish white head. Smells of mild fruit and malt. Has kind of a grapey flavor, mixed with some ginger. Very clean, with no off flavors. Nicely done, on a style I usually don't care much for. haddon90 (1035), Alexandria, Virginia, USA Oct 7, 2003 Overall not bad. Light golden color with a minimal white head. Sweet aroma with a malt and hop balance. Very sweet taste with a little bite to it. Pretty good beer to try. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA Mar 23, 2003 Light gold in color with lots of evident carbonation. Strong adjunt aroma, ala most American Macros. Surprised to find a smooth, sweet malty (not ricy and artificial) tasting lager with a quick hop (saaz?) bite at the end. Very good for the "beginning selection" at a brewpub. Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 28, 2002 Lemony, malty aroma. Clear gold with light lace. Lemony zip, malty pilsener. Better than Rocky River’s 10 Point Blonde Ale, if you’re choosing between lighter brews here. Not as hoppy as they make out in the commercial description. Excellent lager.
