| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2002 Light banana nose. Hazy gold. Tart and highly carbonated, reminded me a bit of Unibroue Don de Dieu with a whack of banana esters. This is good hefe, but it would be better with a stiffer ABV, and would probably age well. From the brewery, it has a certain ’green’ taste that I associate with new Belgians. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA

Light to Medium-bodied; Very pleasant lemon/yeast taste! Aftertaste is very acidic, lemony and yeasty. Overall, very pleasant...a great beer - definately better than average for the style. I had this pint on draught at Union Jack's in Knoxville, Tennessee on 26-September-2003 with Suttree and Haddon90, thanks guys! aracauna (2423), Georgia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2003 Cloudy and a bit whiter than expected, especially after smelling it. The clove and banana richness expected was there in force. There was some sourness at the start that came back in the almost-cloying aftertaste. Overall a nice weisse, but a bit sour in spots.
