Tried it for the first time a couple of months ago. Since, I have purchased 6 ’Party Pig’s in a Box’, which is what they call their 2 1/2 gallon plastic keg. Great overall rating. Best with lemon wedge. jgb9348 (2499), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA

Light to Medium-bodied; Very pleasant lemon/yeast taste! Aftertaste is very acidic, lemony and yeasty. Overall, very pleasant...a great beer - definately better than average for the style. I had this pint on draught at Union Jack's in Knoxville, Tennessee on 26-September-2003 with Suttree and Haddon90, thanks guys! Suttree (2723), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 16, 2002 This is a nice, maltier than usual hefe. Nice big esters in the flavor and aroma. Aurelius (2648), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2002 Light banana nose. Hazy gold. Tart and highly carbonated, reminded me a bit of Unibroue Don de Dieu with a whack of banana esters. This is good hefe, but it would be better with a stiffer ABV, and would probably age well. From the brewery, it has a certain ’green’ taste that I associate with new Belgians. gthank (73), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 19, 2002 Pours up with the standard hefe appearance: cloudy body with a white head that laces the glass. The aroma is also standard hefe, with the typical esther suspects. The palate is average, but where this beer makes its mark is the flavor. Its noticeably maltier than most hefes. While it lacks the satsifyingly exaggerated esthers of the Schneider Weisse, it’s a nice hefe when you’re looking for something just a touch different. JPDIPSO (4906), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2002 Hazy dark straw color with a moderate frothy egg white head. Phenol/banana aroma with a touch off wheat sweetness. Fairly malty and mild spice and banana flavors. Finishes a bit sweet. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2003 Cloudy and a bit whiter than expected, especially after smelling it. The clove and banana richness expected was there in force. There was some sourness at the start that came back in the almost-cloying aftertaste. Overall a nice weisse, but a bit sour in spots.
