Commercial Description:
A maltier version of the typically dry, hoppy India Pale Ales of British origin. One of our favorites if you are looking for an ale with big body, higher alcohol, and good hop flavor.

More of a British style IPA than the West Coast styles we might be used to. Nice hop bite, and a smooth mellow flavor. This brewery seems to be steadily improving, and they had some wonderful seasonal offerings - Smoky the Beer, a smoked porter; and this year’s tasty (and potent) harvest ale. Definately worth a try if you are ever in the East Tennessee area.

More of an ESB than an IPA. Slightly darker than expected and doesn’t finish dry enough. Bitterness is there but flavor and aroma hops aren’t.

A good clean IPA with balanced malt and hop bitterness. Aroma of hops and malt is very inviting.

Light aroma. Peaty, a tad smokey and red malt bittered. It is indeed dry, and bitter on the backend. Lingering red malt palate.

Nice malty aroma. A hint of roastiness on the body with big hop flavor. Finishes a little on the dry side. A very good IPA.
