A small sized light brown head with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. The nose was that of chocolate and mild coffee. It had a mild coffee taste to it with some malt notes. The mouthfeel was creamy and smooth and medium bodied. This beer had an excellent lace to it. This was a mild Porter in my opinion. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

This bottled brew was enjoyed at the Mellow Mushroom in Chattanooga Tennessee which had 40 taps and about 72 different bottles of beer. It poured a small head of fine to large sized light brown colored bubbles that left behind an opaque dark brown colored body with no visible carbonation and a fair lace. The aroma was mild with notes of dark malt. The mouthfeel was intially thin and unbodied, but finished very stong smooth and full bodied. A strange but nice finish. The flavor was that of dark malt, mollasses, hops and mild coffee. It was a well rounded and very enjoyable brew. haddon90 (1036), Alexandria, Virginia, USA

Great smooth taste with some chocolate and caramel dominating the flavor. A damn good porter. Sample bottle given to me from the owner of the Beer Sellar in Knoxville, TN! Flavor was quite bitter like this morning's coffee minus cream and sugar. Some dark chocolate and smoke was detectable. The aftertaste was slightly sour. The body was a little thin but the excellent flavor of the beer made that a non issue. Suttree (2732), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Woody, oaky and dry at the end. Just like a Slopoke candy sucker that had been licked and stuck to an oak barrel that once aged some fine bitter porter.
