Feb 27, 2004 Updated: Apr 27, 2004Strangely enough the Mellow Mushroom in Chattanooga, TN still has 5 of this now defunct brewery's beers on tap. I had the rare chance to sample this years seasonal winter beer. Appearance is a reddish brown. Flavor is very spicy with some dark fruit and nutmeg present in the flavor. The finish is very sweet with a slight bitterness on the tounge. Its a shame this will be my last glass of this nice winter seasonal. RIP Rocky River brewery. RERATE : Managed to sneak in one more glass before the last keg, man is this a good beer, damnit I hate to see them go!
