Sammy (3073), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 4, 2008 On tap at Cole’s. Amber brown with some white head and dot lace. Cidery aroma. Some fruitiness in the finish, only moderately yeasty. Above average mouthfeel. I could get used to this one, drinkable with the malt.

Appearance: Dark amber with some red ruby , small , dense creamy head 3+ Nose : warm yeasty aroma , some Belgian spices as well , over notes of fruit (peach) Flavor/Palate : Strong, full flavored ale . Blend of bitter green , chewy with peach like side. Yeasty , citric ,spiced soft ending . Not as cleanly made as some other examples of style.
swoopjones (1115), Buffalo, New York, USA Apr 7, 2008 On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Pours a deep honey golden color with nice fluffy head. Aromas of sweet malts & belgian yeastiness. Taste is slightly sweet, with Belgian yeat earthiness. Sort of a Poor Mans Maudite. Lacks the bite & Crispness of maudite but overall not too bad
