On tap at Cole’s. Amber brown with some white head and dot lace. Cidery aroma. Some fruitiness in the finish, only moderately yeasty. Above average mouthfeel. I could get used to this one, drinkable with the malt.

Appearance: Dark amber with some red ruby , small , dense creamy head 3+
Nose : warm yeasty aroma , some Belgian spices as well , over notes of fruit (peach)
Flavor/Palate : Strong, full flavored ale . Blend of bitter green , chewy with peach like side. Yeasty , citric ,spiced soft ending . Not as cleanly made as some other examples of style.

Apr 7, 2008 On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Pours a deep honey golden color with nice fluffy head. Aromas of sweet malts & belgian yeastiness. Taste is slightly sweet, with Belgian yeat earthiness. Sort of a Poor Mans Maudite. Lacks the bite & Crispness of maudite but overall not too bad
