Pours nice and dark with a moderate tan head, but the aroma tells you there’s more going on here. It’s sweet and tangy, with some nice roastiness. Flavor is heavy on the bourbon, and the roast balances really nicely. Moderate to heavy body that feels appropriate given the style and bourbon aspect. I’d recommend this to anybody looking for something interesting in the stout range.

A nice stout, but suprisingly little aroma for being aged in bourbon oak barrels. However, the bourbon flavor is plenty evident in the flavor. Thick, and sweet, a decent one-at-a-time sweet stout.

Dark brown, with a tan head. Aroma is bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate, and vanilla. Flavor is chocolate, roasted malt, and bourbon. Thin body. This really doesn’t seem like a stout. Interesting, though.

Color is a near solid black amber with mellow carbonation and a thin tan head. Aroma is a roasted bourbon scent. Taste is light and toasted. Starting with a medium body it goes down easy with a light crisp feel. Finish is roasted with flavors of chocolate, bourbon, oak and a hint of vanilla. After taste is a little sour with a hint of alcohol. Overall its a nice and very drinkable Stout, but its a bit light.

Bomber. Pours black. with a tan head. Bonused to me a little ways back. Nose is sweet. Taste is chocolaty and has a touch of bourbon. Not bad.
