Commercial Description:
Our copper colored American-Style India Pale Ale is brewed with European Pale Ale, Vienna, CarAmber, & Munich Malts. Massive quantities of US grown Amarillo hops give this special beer its unique hoppy flavor. One sip and you’ll think you’re in the middle of a Hopyard! A wonderful match with our steaks, and spicier foods.

Very nice orange with a standing tower of bubbles, even after sitting for 30 minutes. Grapefruit on the aroma and a very nice sweet citric flavor with balanced malt foundation. Excellent, and definitely the best here.

The Hopyard is one of the better IPA’s I’ve tried. The Aroma is very nice because it is dry hopped. The overall flavor is very pleasing and it has nice body.

Extremely impressive IPA, and a good baseline from which to judge others. It has all the crucial elements - malts, hops, alcohol, perfectly balanced - to make a nice IPA, IMO. Clean, citrusy, somewhat bitter, and very tasty.

tap at Falling rock Tap house along with Aubery and Crosling-pours a nice orange hue with fluffy white head. big citric aroma-the flavors were pineapple, green apple skins, but not much malt to back it up. This was a straight forward ipa that does not need a complex rating.

Had at GABF on 10/2/1999. Aroma is light with a hop scent. Color is nice gold with light carbonation and head. Taste is a light body with mild malt flavor and a good hop taste. It ends with a nice bitterness. This is a very good Pale Ale.

Sampled @ Falling Rock, Denver. Orange color. Contains a light soapy flavor, solid bitterness, with a creamy hop nose, a light stale flavor near the finish of paper or musty rice.

Tap. Soft white head, golden brown body. Malty, minerally aroma. Palate is sweet and overly fruity. Bitter finish, short. Off bitterness.
