Orange-red with respectably standing head. Sweet and hoppy, a nicely balanced red ale, with a nice caramel finish.

On tap. Average Colorado ale, nothing to write home about but certainly drinkable. There are lots of other beers that are more or less the same as this.

I would have called this an Irsh ale before I would have called it an amber. A light bit of acrid smokiness, along with some rich roasted nuttiness, and smooth caramel sweetness, all wrapped up in some piney hop bitterness. Decent

Clear and deep amber-red. Smooth body with a mild carbonation. Very toasted, with a little roast and a multi-grain bread flavor. Rather sweet base (sugary caramel and BIG toffee). Maybe even a hint of peat in there as well. Decent level of grassy hops.

on tap-pours a tan head and copper/red color. Aroma is caramel-medium malt. Taste is caramel-medium malt.

Amber pour with a thin tan head. Smell is vegitive and coffee. Taste is sweet with a big hoppy bitter finish too mush perhaps.

Draft at SBV. Pours a thin head, over a typical clear light brown (SRM 15) body....nose is moderately heavy hop, with medium toffee....taste early is sweet malts. then rather heavy (for an amber) hops. This seems somewhat unbalanced for an Amber.

On tap @ Rockyard poured a clear reddish amber with a small diminishing amber head. Aromas of carmel, toffee, light fruittiness and a hint of smoke. Palate was light to medium bodiede and smooth. Flavors of carmel, light butterscotch and light fruittiness with a smooth lingering bitter finish.
