A dark beer with little head. Taste is fruity and sour. Nice and smooth while going to the back of the throat with a lingering sour aftertaste.

Jul 12, 2008 Large bottle from trade with RCL. Thanks Ray! Pours a hazy reddish brown color with a small off white head. Aroma of berries, oak and sherry. Taste is slightly tart and fruity but exceptionally well balanced. Flavor is semi sour but not overwhelmingly so. This is very nice and easy to drink. Has a dry, tangy and crisp finish. I liked this sour ale a lot!

Jul 7, 2008 bottle. Didn’t like this at all. I think it may be safe to say that I’m not a sour ale fan! Nice light brown color. Smelled like a cherry cobbler. I didn’t taste the oak at all. The cherry was to over the top! Left me with a bitter beer face for at least a minute and I could still taste this even after a chaser. This was more like a dessert than a beer.

Jul 7, 2008 Large bottle with a reddish brown pour and small foam head. The sour cherry and wood texture of this was relatively clear, a little over the top. Complex and smooth for the flemish that it is but just not liking the power of sour.
