| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2007 Amber body with a funny creamy lasting head; Malty sour nose, vinegar fruity; Flat soft a little thin sour body; Medium length in sour (lactic and acetic) finish, actually not as sour as expected, not a lot of aromas in the finish. mwsf (360), San Francisco, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 19, 2007 From ’t Vosken in Gent. Clear, ruby red. Not much head or carbonation. Very strong acetic aroma and flavor. Some malt flavor. No hops in the aroma or flavor. Strong acetic vinegar component. Some oak. Quite nice, but not for the faint of heart. Not positive if the very strong acetic component is intentional or if this keg has been sitting around a bit too long. KnutAlbert (3127), Oslo, Norway

This beer really kicks!
Unfiltered, strong, sour beer. Oak, citrus, acid. Served chilled for the yeast not to run wild.
An extreme beer - just the thing for my rating number 1000.
This is for small glasses, not pints! JorisPPattyn (5171), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 8, 2006 Draught Huge yellow head, very dense over hazy amber beer. Pungent but nice lactic acid nose (can have more true wine characteristics, even from specific wine grapes). No acetic acid. Soft woody, lactic, yoghurt-like flavour. Some restsugars apparent. Less smooth & sweet, deeper complexity in some of the foeders at the brewery (explanation being the beer pumped through sparklers on the handpump). Strawberry, cherry wood, milk chocolate. Some acidburn, medium bodied. In the aftertaste, more oakwood. I tasted several "foeders" at the brewery, which differ enormously, the handpump smoothens it. This is quite good, but, as in the UK, I would pass on the sprinkler. thebeertourist (2797), Oslo, Norway

Fruity sour yoghurt aroma. Flavours are sour berries, almost like a kriek, but with a sharp acidic edge. Very dry, woody finish. A unique beer enjoyed at a unique venue.
