Dec 30, 2008 AlohaC’s year end tasting. When it was first poured, those with way more experience and discerning palates said it was bad. Metallic. I didn’t taste it for 15-20 minutes, as the bottle sat open. By the time I tasted it I liked it. It was sweet and round in the mouth. Tart finish. Maybe i just don’t know.

Dec 30, 2008 Pours deep amber brown with a small off white head. Aroma is malty and sour. Taste is malty, sour tart cherries. Pretty good stuff.

Dec 28, 2008 Dark, reddish pour with a nice tan head. Aroma is vinegar, sour fruits, and a bit of funk. Woody, sour flavor with a bit of a cherry finish. A bit of a whiskey character. Nice carbonation, good mouthfeel.

Dec 28, 2008 Bottle. Reddish brown body with a fine brown head. Very fruity aroma with some spices and port. Softly carbonated. Balsamicco, port and spices in flavour. Great balanced sour ale. I loved it!

Dec 21, 2008 Deep ruby reddish brown, pale head. Aroma of sour cherries. Flavor of raisins, plums, sweet start and sour finish. Full mouth. Weird but fun.

Dec 19, 2008 Pours a dark reddish colour with a lasting brown head. Aroma is of cherry, raspberry and underlying acidic notes. Flavour is similar to wine with a pleasant tartness, dark fruit and sweet malt. Medium bodied with a sharp sour finish. Fantastic beer.

Dec 19, 2008 2nd in Xmas tasting w/ Vistica. Bottle from South Bay Liquor. Pours dark amber with a tight white head. Flavor is tart raison/plum and fig. Beautiful balance between sweet & sour leaning towards sour. Medium carbonation with smooth little bubbles. Finishes with the same balance.
