Pours a reddish-brown with a frothy tan/white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of oak, sour, ripe fruit, apple cider, malt. Flavor is very sour from start to finish with hints of sweetness, dill pickle, plum and just a faint subtle note of worcestershire. Seems like it would also be good for marinating. Something about this just looked perfect sitting in a tulip glass with a dark ruby body and small, creamy head. Tart, fruity, acetic aroma with some woodiness. The flavor has a biting acidity with some white wine character and fruitiness. What I loved was that the malts didn’t throw any conflicting flavors at the sourness; it just worked. Oily, medium body. This was really refreshing and surprising. TeamTrappist (393), jericho, New York, USA

And that when I ordered it I didn’t l know it was a sour. This poured dark brown with a thin white head. The nose was a bit scary, vinegar, and dirty socks. Pretty sour flavor, nicely carbonated, and yes tart. A bunch of berry flavors popped out too. Nice dry finish. Slowly but surely my taste buds are maturing, lol. azlondon (662), Fribourg, Switzerland

Sour ales are really not my type but since I never tried it before I took a bottle. Fruity acidy taste. Rather complex. Not bad KnN (738), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA

The flavor is sweet and tart all at the same time with a really nice dry kick at the end. Really a wonderful Flemish sour.
