Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Appearance: Dark brown, redish. Little bit of head. Aroma: Sour, winey. Red wine vinegar? Taste: Very sour. Vinous. Sour fruit. Quenching. Info: 330ml bottle, 17/2-2006, 76/300, 45/500

Looks like I am one of the few people here not liking this sour red stuff.

Bottle. Brownish red color.Beige head. Sour ales are really not my type but since I never tried it before I took a bottle. Fruity acidy taste. Rather complex. Not bad

Pours an absolutely gorgeous deep runy color with a very small white head. Aroma is cherries, sour-wood and plum. The flavor is sweet and tart all at the same time with a really nice dry kick at the end. Really a wonderful Flemish sour.

Bottle - 33 cl. The nose is rather vinous and vinigar-like with burned notes. The head is light brown and the body has theis deep brown with a redish edge. I taste grapes, hay, sour winegums and glue. It has a buttery and sparkling feeling in the mouth. Must admit that sour-ales doesn´t belong to my favorites...

This is a very palate cleansing beer. It is very carbonated and leaves a very sour taste in your mouth. A little too sour for me but over all a great beer.

I’m sorry but I just don’t get this type of beer. Reddish with a small head. Vegemite smell and a very sour and tart taste. Grows on you slightly.
