Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Pours brown with an off-white head. Slight oaky aroma with a sauerkraut smell as well. Very crisp tart flavor with a slightly dry finish.

Has a very cherry / red wine smell. Poors a brownish colour. It has an almost liquer taste. The cherry is a bit strong.

Nose is of sourness, yeast, bread, cherry. Pours murky broen with small reducing head. Taste is sweet with a long malt then very long hoppy/sour finish. tastes much stronger than 6.5% as it goes to work immmediately. Light carbonation, cherries on the palate, and other complex tastes working up to a warming of the tongue and a smooth burst a reduced alcohol. Very nice indeed.

[At Chez Moeder Lambic] Dark red nearly brown beer with beige head. The sour aroma contains balsamico and prunes. Nice sweet sour flavor with hints of vinegar and berries. Nice complex beer that finishes with a delicious acid bite.

Bottle. Ive not had a sour ale so I probably shouldnt rate one. But, pours amber, thin off white head. Smells of spoiled vinegar, tastes about the same. Very sour, but it finishes clean and had a civil cherry after taste. Not my cup ’o tea.
