| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 17, 2009 Bottle, thanks to TampaBrew for sharing. Poured a darkish red color with thin pink head. Big cherry nose. Medium body with decent carbonation. Flavor is cherry candy, lots of ripe cherry notes and quite a bit of residual sweetness balanced slightly by a gentle tartness. Definitely tastes like a New Glarus clone. Finishes sweet. TampaBrew (805), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Pours a dark red. Nose is HUGE fresh cherries, mild tartness, sweet malt. Flavor is all cherry with mild acidity. Full body with active fizzy carbonation. Perfeect balance of sweet and tart makes this unbelievably drinkable. This really reminds me of New Glarus Belgian Red. An absolutely excellent fruit beer. I need to stock up on this one. Vastly under-rated too. Beerman6686 (1282), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Had this at a friend’s house last night. It was a bottle he had cellared for a few years. Colour... light amber and slightly cloudy with no head at all. Nose... kirschwasser, cherry skins, yeast and sugar. Palate... very little carbonation but fabulously fresh cherry for a beer of its age, redolent of maraschino and sweet, yet tart, pie cherries which lingered nicely on the finish. This has held up remarkably well! Reminiscent of a New Glarus Belgian Red but not as fresh or complex. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Aroma: Sour cherries and vinegar. Flavor: A bit medicinal, with both sweet and sour cherries. Palate: Medium body with solid carbonation. Overall: Not my favorite. Worth a try though.
