The carbonation is perfectly balanced with the tartness. Has a lingering sweet taste on the tongue. The cherries in this brew reminds me of a lambic more than a fruit beer. I figured it would be scored low due to the low alcohol content, but this is tasty. Aroma of cherries and sour fruit. Pour was an inviting red with a one finger pink head made of tons of small bubbles. Taste was a perfect mix of sweet and sour. Starts off with sour cherries (like a Flemish sour) and the cherry juice kicks in and sweetens the beer. If I was trapped on a desert island and could only have one fruit beer, this would be it. She probably would have hated the slight sour kriek touch going on but the cherry juice aspect is nice. I wonder why they don’t print the nutritional info because this seems to have vitamins. Perfect for the beach. Next time I won’t forget the juice boxes. Theis (3791), Denmark

Too much sweetness. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA

A good beverage to have served ice cold on a sweltering hot day or to give those "malt beverage" drinkers to show them what their missing with real beer. Silphium (2155), Haslett, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Cloudy orange-brown-red body, medium off-white head. Super sweet, simplified candy version of Rodenbach, cut with modest sourness, but enough to make things interesting. The intense cherry flavors remind me of Pixie Stix. Different. nearbeer (1878), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Cloudy Cheerwine cola color with a medium-sized, pink, and lasting head. Aroma of sweet and sour cherry. Flavor is the same, with just a trace of mild hop on the end. Palate is fizzy, light and refreshing, although a tad sticky on the end. EithCubes (2171), Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 25, 2007 Green bottle. Huge sour cherry nose. Deep blood red pour - transparent - with a pinkish brown, fizzly ephemeral head. Crisp taste, sour cherries but mouth-puckering, sweet with faint bitterness. Light-medium body, smooth and refreshing. Reasonably dry aftertaste. Overall, balanced and very far from cloying - a wonderful summertime fruit beer. Essentiailly flawless.
