Beautiful color. Red-cranberry color. Pink head. Cherries, cherries, cherries. Sweet aroma trickles the nose. Sweet taste- like a candy, cherry jolly rancher. Light and refreshing. Sour. Beautiful flavor. Yummo! Champagne feelings on my tongue. Best beer all night.

11.2 oz botle 6/3/07: Ruby red w/ a lasting pink, medium sized head. Tart aroma w/ cherries, bready malt, and a bit of tomatoey oxidation. Some sugar sweetness and a hint of diacetyl once it warmed. Not as sour as I’d expected or thought it would be, actually barely even tart. Well balanced throughout, cherry flavored. A bit of sugary sweetness up front, medium dry finish w/ a bit of bready malt. Lighter body, lower level of carbonation, dry m/f. Overall not as sour as I’d expected (bonus), but not overly complex either, actually a bit disappointing.

Body is a dark ruby, very thin white/pinkish head. Aroma is like a cherry fruit roll up, very interesting actually, slightly tartness. Taste is light light tartness followed by the cherries, not much other then that. Pretty good though.

11.2oz bottle poured dark amber with off white to pink-ish head. I get a big fruity aroma of cherries, sour powder cherry candy and cherry flavored cough drops. Wow, the flavor has lots of lively fresh tasting sweet cherries and soda like sour cherries. Cherries. Cherries. Cherries. A little too much like a cherry soda than a beer and no real yeasty mustiness I thought this beer might have.

Pours a cherry red. (there’s a surprise.) Very highly carbonated. Taste is almost all cherries. It’s closer to a cherry soda than a beer but I Iike it just the same. One of those that you either love or hate. Give it a try and decide for yourself.

Deep red coloured body with hardly any head at all. Aroma of sour cherries, sweet sugars and a bit of malt. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong cherry sweetness up front fading to a pleasant sour feeling. Mild malt was noticeable and a bit of spice also detected - but this one is all about the cherries and the sweetness. Overall, I liked the beer a lot and thought it was a good take on the style. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Clarendon (Arlington), Virginia on 09-July-07.

Wow - this cherry beer lives up to its name- great cherry flavor, very tart and astringent. Not much of an ale, but for what it is its great. Good flavor, thin mouthfeel, very nice chilled. Almost like a sparkling cherry lambic but with a little more sweet maltiness. I love things being sour, normally like it attenuated in my drinks but regardless its a fine beer.

From a 330L Bottle. Best Before 8/24/07. Mostly transparent, marachino cherry red colored pour with a thin layer of creamy, gently pinkish head. Aroma of marachino cherries and a distinct cherry jolly rancher candy character. Em says it smells and tastes like a cherry jolly rancher, and she’s right. No other words or descriptions could possibly describe this better. Medium bodied, mildly carbonated moutfeel with a sparkling crispness; mild balsamic vinegar - cherry jolly rancher candy. Too sweet.
