Poured a ruby red with a little pink-white fizz.
Smells of ripe tart cherries, a little candied sugar, and tart lemon.
The taste is cherry juice, mixed with a little orange spice and lemon zest. It comes to a jolly rancher finish. this beer is oddly smooth for what it is, but I think the sweetness could become too much after 1 or 2 beers. A definate standout for people usually put off by Flemish beers. radiomgb (1981), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Deep cherry in colour, thin pink coloured head, light patchy lacing. The aroma is oaky, lots of cherries, rich, sugary sweetness, vinegary. The flavour had lots of cherries, was very sweet, oaky, sugary, light balsamic vinegar. Sweet mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes oaky, smooth with a good amount of cherries. Not too bad, more sweet then sour or tart.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2007 Pours dark red with a pinkish head that fades to a ring but laces some from there. Big aroma of tart cherry with some caramel behind that. Flavor is also of big tart cherries, some raisin and brown sugar as well. Palate is sweet upfront but that fades to almost a vinegar sourness on the finish.. Pretty tasty for a fruit beer! badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
