Nov 27, 2006 Pours a deep crimson with a quick red tinged head. Aroma of cherry candy, a bit of sour. More cherry candy flavor with some sugarary tartness. Lively carbonation, a bit syrupy at times with a tart and dry finish. Kind of an oddball beer that tastes too much like candy for my liking.

Nov 21, 2006 330ml bottle at The House of Brews. Coppery dark red with a reddish-tinged tan head. Big, sweet cherry nose laid evenly over a tart base. Flavor is sweet cherry with the familiar Rodenbach tart base. Fairly light bodied. A bit candilike, but I really liked this as a finisher to my meal, like a dessert. Lightly sour tart finish drizzled with sweet cherry juice. Very good!

Nice red coloured, medium sized pink head, sweet cherry nose. Sweet cherry aroma with lots of sugar. Slightly sour finish. Refreshing but very artificial brew.

Nov 17, 2006 Pours a brilliantly clear red-amber with a tight pinkish head; fades slowly. Aroma is sour cherries with some earthy notes. Flavor is predominately sour cherries, but it’s very light bodied--slightly out of balance. Carbonation is med-high, stings a bit in the finish. Sourness in the finish is pleasant. Acidity is in check. Overall, a very enjoyable beer, though lacking the complexity of a good flanders red. Enjoyable, good sourness, light finish.

Heh. Green bottle, american import. According to the commercial description, this is wickedly sour. Riiiiiiiight. Anyway, this poured a nice misty red colour on top of which sat a big pink thick head. The nose was all cherry syrup. The taste was light, sweetish with a definite cherry syrup/candy taste, some metallic hints and faint acidity. Had worse, and this probably the best non lambic fruit beer that I’ve ever had.
