Aroma is rodenback with quite a bit of cherry reminding me of goudenband and liefmans kriek. Taste is similar with the sourale taste of the grand cru with a good tart kick of cherry and a sweet finish but doesnt coat the mouth and leaves you wanting more. themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 6, 2006 Excellent aroma. Description warns about the sourness and, yes, it does hit. If one dedicated itself, one could have a sixer of this. However, there is no coming back. You’re all in or all out. Don’t get yourself mixed in the middle. B***h’s may see it otherwise, so be the hero and protect them. Heed my Warning! fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

Very sweet not very sour. Red body with nice pink head. Flavors are very cherry and very sweet. Not bad if you know what u are getting into. I might change this to a fruit beer. molassesfan (201), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Pours red with a pink head. Hmm... Aroma of cherries and oak. Taste is more sour, very odd. Finish is strange, left me not wanting a lot of this. Also a lot of sugar in this one, something I try to avoid. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 2, 2006 Sweet cherry aroma with a bit of almondy character on the nose as well. Bright red with a thick pink head. A bit candyish but there’s a hint of complexity on the back. Flavour is a bit of a letdown… it’s a sweet cherry soda flavoured confection with enough sugar to totally kill the Rodenbach that’s actually in here. The sweetness rapidly becomes cloying. Oh well… a bottle Rodenbach Grand Cru will happily make me forget about this. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Bottle. Pours cherry red with very thin pink head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is cherry and alcohol, much like cough syrup. Flavor is cherry, slightly sour and a little bitter. swirl (267), collingswood, New Jersey, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Darkish red with a thin pink head, the aroma is faint, but unmistakably of sour cherries.Taste is the same, but more sour than cherries and plenty of fizz. It tastes like an organic soda you might buy from a health food store. $3/11.2oz
