lightly glowing ruby color small pinkish head. Smells nice, fresh cherry pie filling, very sweet touches of tart, and some dry wood like notes. Well coated palate smooth. Flavor is mostly sweet cherries pie filling like,k some light tart notes, dry wood notes. Pretty sweet, almsot overly so, but still nice.

Hazy, dark red w/ pink foam. Highly carbonated. Sweet & sour cherry aroma w/ a touch of acidity & woodiness underneath. Juicy, syrupy yet effervescent feel. Sweet cherry flavour w/ an earthy woodiness in the finish.

Can’t say that I liked this beer at all. Actually, I didn’t even finish it. Smelled like a fruity wine and looked like it , too. Very thin and sweet tasting, more like a flat cherry soda. I think I might mix a little of it with an imperial stout and see if that makes a nice drink.

From Bottle. Sharp Edge Creek House. Dark brown pour with red highlights. Creamy off-white head. Aroma of sour cherries and yeast. Flavor of sour cherries, malt, and bread. Slightly sour, but not as much as I had expected. Easy to drink, smooth. carbonation was lively. I liked this beer alot, I will be seaking more flemish sours.

11.2 oz. bottle for $2.50 from From The Vine in Lewis Center, OH. Intense, deep red color with a strawberry-ice-cream-like head; head dissipates into a tiny ring. Not much in the aroma other than cherries and yeast; actually smells a little sour. I was entirely turned off by the first sip of this beer but it started to grow on me; the cherry and sourness are immediate; this doesn’t taste like beer--it tastes like cherry soda. Thin body. A very new style for me, I don’t think I would buy this again for myself, but my wife likes it.

Pours a deep red, hints of purple, with little pink head. Aroma is a kick of sourness and cherry lifesavers. Flavor is almost entirely dominated by sweet cherries, mixed in with a healthy dose of sourness and a hint of funk. Honestly much better than I was expecting, this had some depth to it, and the sourness made it more "challenging" than I had thought. Yes, definitely a cherry bomb, but not a syrupy mess. Sort of the Belgian version of the New Glarus fruit beers.

A deep, rich red color with a thin, red-hued, tan head. Chocolate and cherry in the nose and the sourness lifts it from smelling too desert-like. There is a definite lambic-like, almondy kriek presence as well. The label reads "kissed by cherries" but it is more like "run over by cherries" but in a good way. Immenently refreshing, sweet but bracing, a desert and an aperitif. This is equivalent of the type of experience you get eating Thai food. Forceful and aggessive but also sofisticated, ethereal, and satisfying.

Nice red color, small reddish head that had a good hang time then faded to leave a bit of a lace behind. The aroma was sour cherry, the flavor was sour cherry with a slight sweet side, and towards the end i get a bit of a flavor that is hard to describe but it’s not a good one. This style is always hit and miss with me and this one hits somewhere in the middle. Not bad but then it doesn’t quite ring my bell either.
