Bottle: Pours a very clear red, heavily filtered with a pink loosely-knit head that dissipates within seconds. The aroma is sourish with notes of cherries and almonds but their is this nasty cardboardiness that is the unmistakable sign of a pasteurized beer. UGH. Body is thin and sweetish. The flavor is extremely one-dimensional, sour cherries with some residual sweetness. I can’t believe that Rodenbach would make such a crappy alco-pop. Just nasty. Drain pour.

Pours a deep garnet color with honey highlights and an instantaneous pink head. Plenty of funk in a vinous aroma beneath cherry pie filling. Zingy mouthfeel with waves of carbonation quickly spreading flavor to all of your tastebuds. Cherry is dominant but not completely overwhelming and, like the aforementioned cherry pie, the fruitiness is pleasantly both sweet and tart. Mild acidity and sourness, but the additives turned this into more of a fruit beer than the Flemish Sour it was based on.

Pour is a deep red with a pink head. Aroma is wine-like with some nice mustyness in there. Flavor is super sour with notes of cherries and vinegar. Flavor is not as powerfull as I would have liked. Finishes sweet and sticky. Average in all categories but something good to sip on. $2 a bottle is not bad either.

Well, i did like the aroma, and color, and it didn’t taste all that bad, but i expected something more. Too sweet. Not as complex as I had hoped. But definitely a refreshing drink.

Bottle. Opaque deep red with a thin pink head. Aroma is nicely cherry with a bit of acidity. Taste is not nearly as good as the aroma. It’s way to syrupy sweet. It tastes like a cherry lollipop. I want beer not candy.

I was suprised that I actually liked this beer. I really enjoyed the traditional rodenbach, and the Grand Cru, but I wasn’t too sure about mixing cherry juice in with that taste. The results were very nice. The pour is dark red, with minimal head. It has a nice cherry aroma, and you can definitely get a whiff of the sourness. The taste was very good. The cherry flavors don’t overrun the brew, as I had expected. Instead, the sourness of the rodenbach mixes well with the cherry flavors, and the result is a brew somewhere between a fruit beer, and a belgian. For the price, it is hard to beat something with this much flavor."

Pours light burgundy with a bright pink head that quickly subsides. Cherry Jolly Rancher notes (do they make this in watermelon?)...Tastes like it smells. Jolly Rancher cherry with a cloying syrup finish. Oh, I wanted to like this one more... my kids would love it -- but they’re in elementary school. More than one would probably be headache inducing. Still, I do like Jolly Ranchers.

Was suprised when I saw this at the corner store, which might I add usually sucks...except for when they charged me $5.99 for a 6-er of Golden Monkey...anyway. It pours out a ruby red color with not much of a head. Aroma is of cherry with a faint wine smell. Taste is tart with notes of cherry. Definite girl beer, but a good summer beer
