| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Nov. 2006 - Beer poured purple/red color with ok head and little lacing. The aroma was that of cherry soda with a touch of vinegar. The flavor was akin to the Grand Cru watered down with cherry soda. More tartness emerged as it warmed, but not enough. I’ll take the GC any day over this! Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, China
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 12, 2008 Burgundy/Beaujolais color with crown of thick pink creamy head. Aroma of crantini and the beach. Big foamy mouthfeel carries the fruit to all corners of the mouth but palate is tacky. Flavors include some characteristic Rodenbach sour socks and swimsuits but also heavily sweetened cranberry cocktail. Too simple and saccharine but better than I expected. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Pours a definite red hue with a light tan head. Nose is pretty mild. Very small amount of sour cherries on the nose. Flavor is obvious cherries with a slight wood touch that seems washed away quickly by those overpowering cherries. Very little sour edge to it, especially compared to others of the style. The feel is smooth on liquid and decent on carbonation. Overall this is very easy to drink. It might be a good intro beer for someone not familiar with the style, or beer in general. But in comparison to other more serious versions of the style, it is a bit lacking in complexity. greenleaf (90), Florida, USA

Taste is sweet, sour, and tingly all over your tounge. Are you sure this isnt a wine cooler? Sticks73 (28), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA

Fluffy white head with a red tint. Sweet cherry smell. Flavorful & poppy beginning with sweet cherry notes, quick middle, with a sour & tangy ending. Nice beer, refreshing and different.
