oberabcbbsok (653), Hoboken, Belgium Dec 17, 2007 Updated: Feb 5, 2008Wow this is what you call a perfect good beer. No head at all very clear and in a clear bottle with nothing on it. The bottle is packed into paper with every information on it. Sour but not too sour. And be carefull it is 10% alcohol.
A perfect beer dalion037 (1), USA does not count Apr 8, 2008 Just picked up a case direct from Belgium. WOW! Probably the best Flanders ale i have ever had. I will definately save a couple. The sweet sour taste lingers for minutes. Een waar genot voor de echte bierproever Magic_dave6 (3642), London, Greater London, England Mar 10, 2008 Bottle, huge thanks goes out to MORHI for this bad boy! Aroma is wonderful, aged sour beer but funky and musty and yea justy fuckin awsome, red wine vinigar, grainy notes, alc no where to be seen, hints of green apple skin but amazingly balanced and never overpowering. Taste is tart fruits, never ovrpowering, sharp but balanced, grainy however no alc showing, slips down soo easily, my god possibly the easiest 10% ale thats ever been made. This is a master piece, this is something new for all the world too see, rodenbach and turned it upside down and said"hey we’re not just a macro that slips out a bit of grand cru for the beer geeks" they’ve shown us they are jenious and well deserved as a monumental high 5. Jerre (1333), Waregem, Belgium Jan 21, 2008 Bottle, 37,5 cl. Thanks to Tom.
Almost clear gold-orange color, no head.
Aroma bit sweet, sour, fruits, wood.
Medium body.
Taste complex, very great !
Sourness, woodimpression, fruits, dry.
Don’t have the feeling it’s 10 % alc.
Perfect lovely beer !
