My Bottom Line:
The tartness of ripe green apples melds into lambic-y sourness before syrupy cereal sweetness tempers the fruity attack. This slick and flat Sour Ale is definitely intriguing, but it is not as compelling as their Grandu Cru, imho.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-There is no head whatsoever atop the clear bronze.
-Its body and flavor profile are somewhat similar to Cantillon’s Bruocsella.
-Alcohol is relatively well hidden for a 10% ale.
-Carbonation is nearly absent, which doesn’t help the mouthfeel much.
-A wooden dryness rises in the back.

Bottle.

A bottle (37,5cl). It has no head at all ... Very nice aroma. A complex and sour taste! I like it! It’s a shame that there are 40000 of these bottles in the world!!

37,5 cl bottle - tasting with yngwie, gunnfryd and Beer_2000. Aroma is sour, fruit, wood/oak. Vinous. Hazy orange color, small, disappering head. Flavor is lovely sourness, sweetness, fruit, wood. Great.

Thanks to William Roelens for the bottle. A clear dark orange, copper colored beer. The head is small and disappears at once. The aroma is beautiful, it’s sourand grainy, with woody tones and sweet tones in the back. It’s a complex aroma. The taste is great and complex as well. Also sour and sweet, of peaches with a little citrus. There are the notes of oak. A long staying warm mouth feeling. In the aftertaste there are some notes of cookie. A well balanced beer. A very great beer.

Bottle, 37.5cl wine cork. Lovely sourish nose with a touch of barnyard, lemon and pale malt. Slightly phenolic. The phenol is evident in the flavor too, actually quite evident. There’s also lots of citric flavors, some barnyard and lemon. Medium, sourish, palate-cleansing mouthfeel. Long, sourish lemony finish. A beautiful beer that could replace white wine anytime.
