Objectively speaking:
2004 bottle (#904). A very different beer from what I expected. A flat, clear amber liquid that aims for controlled oxidation.
I like:
Vinous. Not exagerated sourness. Cerealic indeed. The most fascinating feature is the deep woodiness. Smells like wood, simply. No wateriness and no oiliness despite being flat.
I dislike:
Boy, is this lifeless? Very dull appearance. Corky oxidation. It really is an attempt at oxidation kept under control to emphasize the woodiness, but it did not grab me. Lambics seem to at least keep a certain freshness. Here it’s apple and butter.

Jul 22, 2008 Pours a light amber coppery, mostly still with no head. Acetic acid aroma is pretty intense, tons of apple cider vinegar- acetone, acetaldehyde, malt vinegar, and tannic with a light sweetness. Lighter sweetness in the flavor, mostly sour and acidic- vinegar, light cherry pit and cherry pie, metallic penny-like hints, almond cherry pit, cyanide character. Acetic acid in the mouthfeel is prickly and sour, with more tannins and astringency and a residual apple juice sweetness in the end. Pretty good overall, but a bit to metallic and apply for me.

Jul 14, 2008 Botte at Kulminator, Antwerp, 6/19. Pours golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of sour fruit and wheat. Flavor is very similar. Finish is nicely sour. Very well integrates the sour with the grain malts. An excellent beer.

Jul 11, 2008 Bottle. Golden / Orange colour with a white head. Aroma is sour, yeast, wood, lemon. Flavour is sour, yeast, wood, lemon. Pleasen nice beer.

Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear pale golden color with a small fast disappearing white head. Tart sour fruity spicy aroma. Sweetish tart woody spicy flavor. Long tart sour spicy finish.
