A clear dark orange, copper colored beer. The head is small and disappears at once. The aroma is beautiful, it’s sour and grainy, with woody tones and sweet tones in the back. It’s a complex aroma. The taste is great and complex as well. Also sour and sweet, of peaches with a little citrus. There are the notes of oak. A long staying warm mouth feeling. In the aftertaste there are some notes of cookie. A well balanced beer. A very great beer. yngwie (4974), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 26, 2008 Bottle, 37.5cl wine cork. Lovely sourish nose with a touch of barnyard, lemon and pale malt. Slightly phenolic. The phenol is evident in the flavor too, actually quite evident. There’s also lots of citric flavors, some barnyard and lemon. Medium, sourish, palate-cleansing mouthfeel. Long, sourish lemony finish. A beautiful beer that could replace white wine anytime. (080626) railcat1 (582), Orlando, Florida, USA
