Pours very still and a golden orange. Aroma has some sour and a bit of dough. Light and fruity at first, develops sourness and complexity. Sour on the tip of the tounge, has some grain and lightly sweet malt parts to it. Coats the back of the tounge and leaves some lactic sour in the back of the throat.

Tasted this great beer in a tasting house in Brugge. No head, very fine carbonation. Smooth taste and quite sour as your expect. After taste is of pure grain and bread. Not an every day drinker at 7+ euro each, but well worth a couple.

Bottle@Home. Amazing aroma, that’s all I can say! Clear, light amber colour, tiny head, no lace. Sweet, sour, apple, vinegar, wood. Soft and warming. Not a big complex beer but certainly fine and very interesting.

Bottle shared courtesy of Jason. Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of cheirries, light vinegar, wood, funky, and earthy. Tastes of cherries, vanilla, wood, and citrus. Nice sour finish.

Pours dark golden color. No head whatsoever, even when poured from decent height. Smells like cheese and sour grapes/apples from some yeast funk. Flavor is quite sour, my friend said ’’atomic warhead’’ but I wouldn’t go that far, still drinkable. Has a dry champagne feel to it, medium body that ends with a crisp malt flavor. You can certainly tell this was aged for a while, It doesn’t really resemble ’’beer’’ as much as something else, still quite tasty and drinkable though.

Golden with no head. Sour and funky aroma - like wood, vinegar and wet soil. The flavour is acid and sour too. dominated by vinegar, white wine and bad apple juice. I don’t get this one and find it way beneath the Grand Cru.
