No head at all very clear and in a clear bottle with nothing on it. The bottle is packed into paper with every information on it. Sour but not too sour. And be carefull it is 10% alcohol.

WOW! Probably the best Flanders ale i have ever had. I will definately save a couple. The sweet sour taste lingers for minutes. I’m ready for another one. wacho (51), Izegem, Belgium

De smaak is behoorlijk zoet-zuur en vooral van hetzware alcoholgehalte is weinig merkbaar. Een waar genot voor de echte bierproever Todeon (315), Sweden

Poured this beauty in my Gulden Draak glas. Golden/orange/red color that looks pretty damn mesmerizing and beautiful. No head appears at all. Aroma is gentle citrus, fresh grape, oak and some apple peel. Really like a fine wine actually. Taste is at first really oakey and acidic with plenty of apples and citrus.. A slight sourness/acidity appears but is perfectly balanced with the little sweetness that comes right after. Some almonds can be found in there aswell as some corn notes. Alcohol is barely felt at all, at least not until after the beer was finished ;) .Resembles a fine white wine or a champagne. Truly a masterpiece! PJClarke (709), London, Greater London, England
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Many, many thanks to mesandsim. Crisp and zingy brown. Hugely aromatic with sour brown rice and an almost sake and whisky characters. Far more sour in the mouth with Dijon and white wine vinegar flavours. It has a long finish of balloon latex and woody dirt. Love it to pieces. One of the most intereting and complex. Case (37), Germany
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Apr 23, 2009 Tasted side by side with a Rodenbach Grand Cru for comparison. The Vin de Cereale has been aged for three years inside oak barrel #132 at Rodenbach. Much lighter colour than the Rodenbach Grand Cru, it pours a clear orange-red, quite beautiful but no head and no lacing. Aroma is also quite different: peaches and apricots, a light funkyness, musky. Taste is very sour, moreso than the Rodenbach Grand Cru. Dry, tart, acidic. Vinous and white grapes, reminds me very much of a white wine whereas the Rodenbach Grand Cru is more reminiscent of a red. Flat, no carbonation but spicy palate with warming alcohol. Does not have the sweet base of the Grand Cru. Has a bit of a dusty cobweb maltiness.
I love the white wine feel of the Vin de Cereale. Too bad it is such a limited production and thus rare, expensive and possibly soon completely sold out (only 20,000 bottles were made). Simply brilliant! Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England

Aroma is wonderful, aged sour beer but funky and musty and yea justy fuckin awsome, red wine vinigar, grainy notes, alc no where to be seen, hints of green apple skin but amazingly balanced and never overpowering. Taste is tart fruits, never ovrpowering, sharp but balanced, grainy however no alc showing, slips down soo easily, my god possibly the easiest 10% ale thats ever been made. This is a master piece, this is something new for all the world too see, rodenbach and turned it upside down and said"hey we’re not just a macro that slips out a bit of grand cru for the beer geeks" they’ve shown us they are jenious and well deserved as a monumental high 5.
