Tasted in Brugges-2008. Appearance: amber color with pink notes, beautiful color. Not head. Aroma: complex sweet fruity smells. Mainly vinous and citric; notes of wood, green grapes, rose’s petal and balsamic vinegar. Flavor: ephemeral sweet start; dominated for complex and sour flavors. Fruitiness simiar to citric strawberries, green grapes and pomegranate. Spicy sourness with notes of vineger, gherkin, pickles and mustard. Vinous reminiscences as rosé, champagne and chardonay. Lightly Woody taste. Final with light touches of bicarbonate. Palate: medium body, semi-oily ad rough texture. Low carbonation. Remark: refined, complex and refreshing beer; own character, multidimentional sourness and a challenge for the palate. Very nice.

Bottle at the Relentless Thirst Tasting on 08/29/2009. Very clear pale golden body with a very small white head. Fairly sour fruit aroma. Very sour fruit flavor, some balsamic vinegar. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Ap: Amber color. No head. Small and calm bubbles. Ar: Jasmine rice. Light spiciness. Some strange complex funky thing that reminds me of artsinal cheese. Very sweet. Fla: The sourness is there straight away. Kind of sweet in the background, good balance for the sourness. Vinous. The strange bitterness of jasmine rice. Ov: Perfect palate. Great soft mouthfeel

2004 Bottle. Pours a luminous clear golden with a clear white head that vanishes quickly. Aromas of wet newspapers, Asian pear, some green grape, and a nice dose of funk. The flavor of this is so well balanced it is truly extraordinary with muscat grapes, great geueze funkiness, and green apple. There is just the right amount of carbonation which offsets the sour finish. This is one of the smoothest, most elegant beers I have ever tried. It reminds me of the 3 Fonteinen J&J Blauw, which is most certainly a good thing. A pleasure to drink.

Beautiful copper pour. Aroma is hay, fine sherry vinegar and a little toffee. Flavor is super elegant, medium tart and lightly sweet with great balance.

Pours with a golden body topped by a thin head with little to no lacing. It’s slightly sweet and fruity with a nice sourness coming through. Light, crisp and slightly dry.

Many, many thanks to mesandsim. Crisp and zingy brown. Hugely aromatic with sour brown rice and an almost sake and whisky characters. Far more sour in the mouth with Dijon and white wine vinegar flavours. It has a long finish of balloon latex and woody dirt. Love it to pieces. One of the most intereting and complex.

Golden-yellow in colour with fine white head. Aroma is citrus like with a slight green-sour vegetallness about it. Taste is nicely nervous and tart with a good refreshing twang. nice dry finale with a fine bittering in the end.

Very pale amberish colour with little to no head, looks cool and smells very sweet and oaky, very special and white-whine like. Flavour is quite sour but balanced buy huge woody flavours ending on a dry vinous note with lingering wood complexity. Mouthfeel is smooth. Very odd in a good way, a must try for sure.
