The aroma is of sweet cherries and candy. Taste is also of cherries with a nice sour twist. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 23, 2008 750ml bottle served in a stem glass. Pours murky brown, garnet around the edges, with a creamy tan head. Smells like cherries and sweet tarts. Taste is semi-sweet with some cherries candy. Slightly acidic. Decent but not as complex as a sour should be, nowhere near as good as Rodenbach Grand Cru. m4rest88 (216), Beverly Hills, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 18, 2008 Bottle pours with a light brown head that sits on top of a dark brown hue. The head longevity is mostly diminishing.
The aroma is of wet dog hair, cherry, oak, and a lot of barnyard funk.
The flavor is of cherries all the way through, with a pretty sour finish. I also tasted some citrus in this beer.
The palate is fizzy and dry. BMan1113VR (2940), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours with a deep, murky brown body with reddish highlights, and a light brown head. Aroma of wet dog hair, burn hair, funk, cherries and oak. Taste is not very sour, cherries, light funk. Doesn’t hold a candle to there grand cru, infact this one is quite dissapointing. Fizzy mouthfeel. bhops (334), Dallas, Texas, USA

Not as sour as expected in taste, but a nice tart finish...aftertaste like I’d been eating straight up cherries. Easy on the palatte, not as acidic as many sours. Good beer though. Could be everyday drinker if I had access. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA
