CLASSIC. I love this brew... the flemish session. The only bad part is that it makes me dream of Alexander. crap. seriously, crap.

Courtesy of AFI96, thanks waylo !! Pours a murky brown color with a sm tan head. The aroma is of sweet cherries and candy. Taste is also of cherries with a nice sour twist. This ale was pretty good, i want to try some more from Rodenbach.

750ml bottle served in a stem glass. Pours murky brown, garnet around the edges, with a creamy tan head. Smells like cherries and sweet tarts. Taste is semi-sweet with some cherries candy. Slightly acidic. Decent but not as complex as a sour should be, nowhere near as good as Rodenbach Grand Cru.

Bottle pours with a light brown head that sits on top of a dark brown hue. The head longevity is mostly diminishing. The aroma is of wet dog hair, cherry, oak, and a lot of barnyard funk. The flavor is of cherries all the way through, with a pretty sour finish. I also tasted some citrus in this beer. The palate is fizzy and dry.

Bottle. Pours with a deep, murky brown body with reddish highlights, and a light brown head. Aroma of wet dog hair, burn hair, funk, cherries and oak. Taste is not very sour, cherries, light funk. Doesn’t hold a candle to there grand cru, infact this one is quite dissapointing. Fizzy mouthfeel.

Bottle thanks to mar. Pours reddish brown, minimal head. Aroma of sour cherries. Not as sour as expected in taste, but a nice tart finish...aftertaste like I’d been eating straight up cherries. Easy on the palatte, not as acidic as many sours. Good beer though. Could be everyday drinker if I had access.

hazy, dark copper body with dark ruby highlight, moderate lacing, somewhat rocky tan head that diminishes quickly; medium sweet, medium sour, hints of wood and cherry; smooth; good, simple.
