Wanting to try Grand Cru so I can compare. Was reasonably priced for a Belgium, would recommend if you like sours. Bartzilla (445), San Diego, California, USA

Seemed a little flat, but that didn’t deter me from savoring this fine, sour ale. Tasted a little musky compared to the Grand Cru, which is the only other Rodenbach I have tried, but this was a good thing. Great flavor profile. I expected no less. Delicious. wetherel (1641), Encinitas, California, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 17, 2008 On draft at Churchill’s. Ivan gractiously gave me a sample. Red amber color. Microbubble head. Light sour aroma similar to a sour cherry. Fruity. Some funky feet in the aroma, which I love. Slick sour lacto mouthfeel. Leans sweet. Very drinkable and very delicious. Yum! padrefan98 (788), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA

A long night of some pretty good sours had my tastebuds so puckered up. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Draft at O’Brien’s. Reddish color with not much head. Aromas were tart cherry and raspberry. Flavors were more tart and some acidity. Fruity all the way. Pretty good stuff. madquacker (730), Canberra ACT, Australia

Dark red colour with a sour tart finish. I think this is trading off a reputation because is somewhat unpleasant to drink. hapjydeuce (774), Del Mar, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 13, 2008 Updated: Apr 23, 2008Bottled, pours copper-red color with some fine white lace and bubble formation. Flattens out pretty quickly, leaving pleasant tart vinous aromas. The nose is mostly light vinegar notes & wild yeast funk, with slight oak influence with noticeable hops. Light and soft flavors with a nicely balanced sourness, the finish has a note of toasted bread and citrus. Tingly carbonation excites the palate. Refreshing! Jonte (833), Gothenburg, Sweden
