Pours a dark red color with a tan color head. Aromas are very strong, smells a little like an old wine, you can feel the fruits and the oak. Flavors are again strong on the fruity oak, with old grapes and some berries. It has a dry and sour finish in mouth, some sweetness and with little carbonation. It is a quite light beer but with lots of strong fruity taste.

Bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with a beige head that quickly shrinks to a ring around the top. Aroma is of berries, yeast, sour apple with subtler notes of toffee and malt. Flavour is, like the aroma, pleasantly sour with cherry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, toffee, citric acid and apple. Medium bodied with the initial mouthfilling sourness giving way to sweetness at the end and a light, almost slick, mouthfeel. Well balanced, this a very good sour ale.

Dark brown body with a very thin tan head. Huge raisin/plum smell. Really fruity with a mild yeast. Extremely fruity carbonated taste. Not really a beer but a fruit drink with notes of plums, strawberries, currants, and grapes. Big fruit palate. Overall enjoyable despite the expectance of a beer and got a carbonated fruit drink.

dark brown, lively head. Smell - cranberry, mineral, lemon, peppermint. Taste - white grape, ginger ale, saltine, bright acidity and back to ginger ale finish. Feel - med light, nice soft carbonation. Lots of fun, refreshing.

Beautiful dark brown color, very little foam. Malt, fruit, vinegar, cherry, vanilla, apple and lemon, many fragrances and flavors in a pleasant and refreshing beer. Acid unit was nice, not brutal, but just generally nice. The beer seemed balanced and the finish was long and fine.

Pours amber brown with a small off white head. Aroma is sour/tart fruits and caramel. Flavor is big sweet and sour tart cherries, with hints of old wood. Very good.

Dark purplish brown with a small white head. Aroma is vinous- white and red grape juice, caramel malt, and dark fruit. Flavor is slightly tart, but a sweet grape character prevails. Quite fruity and sweet- to the point of fruit juice. Palate is medium bodied with caressing carbonation that finishes sweet and clean. Not quite what I was expecting out of the style- a bit on the sweet side for me.
