(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 14 Sep 2007) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy off-white head. Fruity, sourish, lactic nose with notes of dark fruit. A bit closed. Sourish, slightly fruity taste with dark fruit, wood and bitter-sweet notes of cowberries in a rather dry finish. Rather balanced. Nice beer but far from the Grand Cru.

<Thanks to Beerbiker> First rating of this style. Looks like a soda, not much head. Aroma is sour, with fermented fruits and a mild cheery note. Flavor i very nice, fresh acidic, mixed with a more complex tartness.

Pours dark red with an off-white head. Aroma is very sweet with strong vinegar smells. Flavor is nice and tart with some berry tastes coming out.

Night cap for me. Nice and easy drinking sour ale. Could quite possibly have a few of these without getting overpowered by it. P.s. i love the aroma that these flemish sours are putting out. Very vinegary with the smell, but the taste is so completely different.

Has way too much vinegar in the nose. The flavor is also just slightly funky to me. The sourness is light, but could be better all around.

Fairly undemanding session beer with that touch of sourness to keep it interesting. I have to admit I was slightly disapoointed by this, I was expecting something bigger tasting. Still, it’s clearly a beer aimed at a wide audience and there’s no doubt it tastes excellent.
