Aroma is vinous- white and red grape juice, caramel malt, and dark fruit. Flavor is slightly tart, but a sweet grape character prevails. Quite fruity and sweet- to the point of fruit juice. Palate is medium bodied with caressing carbonation that finishes sweet and clean. Not quite what I was expecting out of the style- a bit on the sweet side for me. craftycarl21 (601), South Hero, Vermont, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 12, 2009 Plum colored pour with a decent white bubbly head. Aroma is quite sweet, with notes of cheap red wine, grapes, a bit of caramel and raisin. Tastes like Welch’s grape juice, but with a slightly tart aspect to it. Sweetness is nice and drinkable, but not very complex. A tasty beer, but no where near what a really good sour ale should taste like. Not bad overall. Geokkjer (256), Kristiansand, Norway

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Pours a brownish red with a very little tan head. The aroma when first poured was of strong nail polish remover but that flew away quick. Now there is a light sour cherry and malt nose. The taste is wonderfully complex. Each drink brings out something new, a little malt here, some fruit there, and this sweet and tart flip flop around so nicely. Light in body but the carbonation plays so lively on your tounge, you would think it is medium bodied. The finish is clean and crisp, sweet and tart. Very drinkable, and something I would get again. l1br4r14n (297), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 22, 2009 Nice aroma of sour cherries, dark malt, sugar. Flavor is a very pleasant sour cherries, granny smith apples, some toasted malt. Very light on the vinegar taste, but still a very nice Flemish sour with little bitterness.
